This Privacy Policy explains how Velvet Curtain Works (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in the Pin Story mobile game (the “App”) and on this website. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Pin Story is developed and published by Velvet Curtain Works. For any privacy question, write to support@pin-story-theatre.info.
2. Information we collect
The App is designed to work fully offline. We do not collect, transmit or sell any personal information through the App. In particular, the App does not:
- require an account, sign-in, name, email address or phone number;
- collect your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data;
- use advertising identifiers or show advertising;
- include analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs;
- offer in-app purchases or process payments.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include (for example your email address, device model and message). We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed for that purpose.
3. Data stored on your device
To remember your game, the App saves a small amount of data locally on your device using the operating system’s standard app storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

You can erase this data at any time with Settings → Reset progress in the App, by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Your operating system may include this local data in device backups (for example iCloud Backup) according to your own device settings. Such backups are governed by the provider of your device or OS, not by us.
4. Device permissions
The App does not request access to sensitive permissions. It uses vibration only for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.
5. Third parties
The App does not share data with third parties. When you download the App, the app store you use (the Apple App Store) may collect information under its own privacy policy. This website is a static site and does not use cookies or analytics; our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation.
Fonts used in the App and on this website (Playfair Display and Nunito) are served locally and do not contact external services.
6. Children’s privacy
Pin Story is suitable for a general audience. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data. Since game data stays on your device, you control it directly. For any information you sent us by email, contact support@pin-story-theatre.info and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Because no personal data is collected or sent over the network by the App, the risk to your privacy is minimal. Emails you send us are stored with reasonable safeguards and access is limited to our support team.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App changes. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. If a change significantly affects how your information is handled, we will also mention it in the App’s release notes.
